immunizations in Cambridge and Ipswich. We have nearly 100 years cumulative experience in
travel jabs and ‘wellness’ abroad. Our detailed and specialist
travel advice is provided by a member of our very experienced nursing team.
We are members of the International Society of Travel Medicine, our Medical Director, Dr Jane Wilson-Howarth BSc (Hons.), MSc (Oxon), BM, DCH, DCCH, DFSRH, FRSTM&H, FFTM RCPS (Glasg), GP, zoologist, author, is an authority on travel health, and Mary Kedward RN is the Managing Director. Both give educational presentations to GPs and nurses throughout the UK. A purpose-built clinic, staffed with dedicated professionals who are capable of dealing with complex itineraries for families, students, businessmen and women, will give you the confidence that your travel will be as healthy and safe as possible.
Before travel it is wise to understand the health challenges of travel. At the Travel Clinic Ltd we believe that this is best achieved by making an appointment with one of our practitioners who, as well as giving all the relevant
travel advice, will administer the necessary
travel vaccinations; obviously detailed advice on such things as avoiding
malaria and other mosquito borne diseases will be included. Our Cambridge and Ipswich branches are also registered
Yellow Fever Vaccination Centres.
Most
travel-related infections are preventable through understanding the many
travel health issues and through travel immunizations – and this is our expertise. As a client of The Travel Clinic Ltd, you will receive a personal 30-minute consultation which will enable the nurse to confidently assess your unique risks and offer advice to suit your itinerary. As healthcare professionals, we ensure that we do thorough assessments of any current medical conditions that could affect your trip before giving vaccines and advice.
